Modding companies are releasing modded controllers for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and World at War that aren't compatible with Black Ops. Not dropping names, because they ain't nice, but Treyarch looked into fixing what they called their "modded controller" problem back in December that destroyed the functions on a lot of Black Ops mods.
A lot of time has past since that patch, but only 2 months after them, they undid the patches for less severe ones. Those patches were glitching the game far worse then before so the mod blocks have been weakened. Gamers don't have to worry, modding companies have since mastered the newest patches and gotten around them to continue making mods for Black Ops.
To answer a common question, yes, we do make mods that are fully compatible with Black Ops. In fact our controllers are compatible with a variety of games. Most gamer that order our mods don't even realize the good number of games that work with them. Rapid fire mod works in Crysis 2, Left 4 Dead 1 &2, as well as Grand Theft Auto IV. On top of the Call of Duty games and the Halo franchise.
Almost all weapons are compatible with Black Ops rapid fire and jitter mods. The weapons that get the most bang for your buck are the: FAL, pistols, M14, and the Python. Jitter mods work best with the following weapons: M16, G11, and the Spas-12. If you play a lot of Call of Duty, especially Black Ops, then be sure to check us out.
Black Ops released a map pack on May 3rd. For $15 dollars the map pack comes with 5 new multiplayer maps. That's 1200 Microsoft Points. The first map pack released for Call of Duty: Black Ops sold over 1.4 million copies, so we can suspect this map pack will do similarly well. You can expect our mods to work with this new map pack. They didn't eliminate our mods in the last group of patches and they haven't stopped us this time around either.
